My fiance and I searched for apartments for weeks, and stopped when we came to The Club. Amy, a Club staff member, showed us an apt without even having an appt. We chose a 1 BR Terrace level and absultely love the place. We move in on Saturday and I can hardly wait. Tanning bed, gym, clubhouse, pool, tennis/basketball courts, friendly staff, and a w/d right in our very own place.
Amy was very nice and informative, explained to us that our rent will NEVER increase, it will stay at $665. Our first month is being pro-rated at base rent of $665.
I am sorry that so many people have said so many bad things about this place. I think it is perfect. And so does my fiance. You can consider this as two votes to move into the Club. Ask for Amy!

Wait until you move in... its easy to say how great this place is before you've actually lived here. Nice on the outside, crap on the inside. Just wait.

I think you misunderstood Amy. Your rent will increase when your current lease is up and believe me, it will increase dramatically!

I was paying 670/month when I moved in...they claimed there would only be "very slight increases" every year...well now they want $850 for the same 1 br apt, 2 years later!

I am considering these apartments and now reading the reviews regarding the NOISE level and rent going up $180 within 2 years is RIDICULOUS! Should I waste my time and look at them anyway?? The only reason I am considering this place is because I can get Comcast Cable and Verizon phone service! The other places I've looked at all have contracts with other cable vendors...so basic cable of $70 will get me 62 channels..as opposed to the 370 I'm getting now. That's a big deal when you're used to "onDemand"!!!!

I was the girl that originally posted this review. The rent did go up. Also, if you work at UPMC, you get a discount...no one tells you, but after asking, it should be 5%. We got out of our lease a few months early...it's costly, but cheaper than staying. This is definitely a place for people that make a lot of money to rent a small amount of space. My brother and his girlfriend have an apt twice our size and they pay $250/mo plus gas & electric. Also, we barely had our AC on and had our water heater set to warm...and our utility bills were insane!
