I moved in August and was drawn becuase of the cheap price and the studio was alright. I lived on the 8th floor and a filthy lady lived across from me. She was disgusting! Everyone complained about her but they would not evict her. In February, my apartment got bedbugs from someone else in the apartment. So did a bunch of other apartments. It was terrible and everytime I called Union to get an exterminator no one got back to me or helped fix the problem. I moved out a few weeks ago and broke my lease but without having to throw away basically all of my things and furniture and clothes. About 25 other people had to do the same thing. They are still showing these apartments that have bedbugs. DO NOT LIVE HERE NO MATTER WHAT. Bedbugs are hell to get rid of and you do not want to live in this dumpy building.

We lived at the Coronado and felt like we were in a squat, it's dark, smelly and sooooo poorly managed by Union. There was a large hole in our bedroom wall that was fixed with duct tape and then painted the wall color as if it would blend in. It doesn't surprise me that bedbugs became a problem either, we were across the hall from an empty apartment that they stored things that tennents left behind, like mattresses and dressers.

ew thats gross. why didnt they just throw that stuff away!!!! i'm glad I wasn't the only person that felt that way. And if there was a hole in my bedroom wall I'd be pretty irate. Who knows what could come in through there.
