Rollercoaster Ride

Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2007
I lived in these apartments for over 2 years. I seen them go from being filled with nice little old people to becoming equal opportunity housing, stacked full of drug addicts and criminals. Then, the Pittsburgh Technical Institute bought out half of them. When I first moved in, the apartment needed new outlets, rangetop, fridge, sink, and toilet. It took about a year before any of it got done. I fixed the toilet myself, I just stopped using the oven. But, soon after living there a while, and paying my rent on time, and being a good tenant, I developed a good relationship with the manager. Then, everything came all at once. After that point the only problem I had with the place was I was surrounded by crackheads and goofballs. I had these creeps pounding on my door in the middle of the night trying to sell me furniture and anything else they could make a dollar off of. However, after PTI bought the other half, most of the creeps got evicted so that the tenants from the other side could move over... so overall, it was one hell of a rollercoaster ride, but the place isnt bad. its a good location and if you are responsible and nice, management has no problem serving you. However, be aware of the ever evolving nature of this place.
