Too expensive for what you get

I had a Studio which meant that I had my own door, so I had no hallway issues. However, the studios are basically basement apartments, meaning that you share a wall with the laudry facilities. In my kitchen, I could smell the bleach from the laundry area. My food molded very quickly because of the moisture in the air from the laundry. There was also the mildew smell all the time, so candles were extremely important to me during those years.
It's a shame that it has gone down hill, especially with security. When my parents first divorced in 1980, it's where my dad lived. My dad and I roamed all over the grounds together. It was a really nice place with a pool and playground (people forget that at that time, not all apartment buildings allowed children in them)
I left because they were raising the rent to $430 for the Studio.
