Recently we had to move our cars because they were resurfacing our street. I have no problem doing what is needed. My only problem is that not all cars had to move. They resurfaced around a car while others did what was asked. I just don't understand what is good for one is not good for all.

I am here to second that! Not only did the rental office NOT give us much notice (we got a note in our mailbox the night before), they threatened to tow any cars left after 8 am...except for that one car. And they paved AROUND it!!!

I was kind of annoyed by that as well...For the Monday morning paving, we had to have all the cars NEAR the apt., but the paving was rained out. Sometime after 2pm Monday afternoon, a flier was put on the building entrance stating that by 8am TUESDAY we had to have our cars parked AWAY from the building. I found out about it only through chance...or my car might have been towed? More notice is definitely needed. There has still not been anything about doing the other half of the lot...it's half done, around various cars, which is understandable, since no one has received a notice about moving the cars again.
Where are the promised new washers/dryers? From what I've seen since being here AND what I've heard, you can not trust when management says repairs/replacements/construction will be completed...

During the paving process, I parked my car on the hill - an annoyingly long distance from my apartment - for three days waiting. When they finally did it, some person drove through the blockade and left tire marks everywhere. They had to redo it again and I was left to deal with hilly disposition. That lovely paving also left tar marks all over the bottom of my shoes due to it melting in the heat. This tar got on the kitchen floor and carpets. I had to scrape it off of the kitchen and cut it off of the carpets when I moved out. I was afraid they'd charge me for the stains. The management had to have scheduled the paving in advance. They should have notified the tenants then, and continued to so we weren't surprised by it.
Oh yeah, we had a washer in our building that didn't take any change. The quarters would just get stuck in there. It was never replaced or repaired.
