Becoming a problem complex....read entire review

I have lived here for 2 years now and I think this is going to be my last. I cant complain about the maintenance men they are usually pretty quick with their efforts, except for one who lacks the intelligence. Management on the other hand is extremely useless. The washer and dryers have been vandalized by thieves twice this year. A womens apartment was broken into, she was tied down and her things were stolen. The only thing management has done to fix this is by putting out flyers saying that this was not a random act of violence. The woman knew the perpetrators and that this should teach us a lesson not to prop doors open. In case they werent paying attention the outer doors can be opened using a butter knife. In the case of the break in, the theives used a chiv and wedged it into the door to pop it open. But thats our fault that they wont spend the money to properly secure the doors. Its easier to spend money cutting down trees and planting winter flowers that will be removed when the weather breaks. Management has brought alot of these problems on themselves. They say they do "backround checks" on everyone but I highly doubt that considering the Rapist they allow to live in the complex. Trust me a manager will respond to this saying this is all not true. Well in your response make sure you check this out. At the end of this review there is a link for the National Sex Offender Registery. Type in the complex's adress and it will give you a map and the name of a sex offender who lives in 641 on Elmspring Ct. which is located in the complex. Dont get me wrong there are alot of good people here who like the convenience of being close to the city because of work. But I have started to notice some questionable people moving in and the vandalism and violence have started since this occured. If management doesnt work to correct these problems and start renting to the right people, this is place is going to look like st. clair village or beltzhoover. Rent is definately way to high for how old and ugly the buildings are. However, I would much rather pay higher rent to keep out certain groups of people from being able to afford this place. Although, They have easily been able to get around that problem by putting 8 people in a 2 bedroom apartment. Management just doesnt pay attention to the problems that are occuring they just like to blame others. They are not bad people, most of them are very polite and easy to talk to. They just lack the skills needed to be good leaders and managers. Its obvious why corporate put them in charge, they can keep them on a short leash.
