I lived in a one bedroom apt for 2 years. Affordable rent, extremely nice area, friendly neighbors, and no bug problem. It broke my heart not to renew my lease this year. Unfortunately, the new building manager is going through some personal issues and I did not feel safe staying there another year. He is constantly calling up or approaching tenants asking for money to help out his gambling problem . He was reported late last year for this but obviously he wasn t reprimanded because he is still asking tenants for money. The manager is a nice guy but he is dealing with a lot more than a gambling problem . Again nice guy but sad situation.
