unfortunately, I grew up in Greenway park, and many of my friends parents use to refer to it as 'the projects'. 'Oh, you live in the projects!' Talk about an embarassing stigma for a child to endure!
Greenway is a dangerous neighborhood, with crime and drugs running rampant. Wile you might be a hard working individual (like my parents), I can guarantee you that a large percentage of your neighbors are crack-hos on welfare. This is NOT a place for a single woman to live.

I live in Greenway Park Apts now and totally disagree with the last review that was made. I believe the new property manager has went out of his way to keep the neighborhood a safe place to live. There is now a list of names of people who can no longer come on the property because the have caused problems, and if there caught on the property they go to jail for tresspassing. There is also mobile security on patrole at all times. This is a place were young single woman can live for a reasonable amount of money. Your rent is based off your income and you pay no utilities. And there are laundry facilities available, which was a plus for me because I wash every week. I would reccomend Greenway to people with limited income.I've been there almost 2 years and I love it!
