Good location, but you can hear EVERYTHING.

The Heinz Lofts certainly offer a great location. However, the "cool factor" of living at the Lofts comes at a high price in many ways. First, you can hear EVERYTHING from side neighbors right through the walls. Second, the windows are poorly insulated and the heat runs off of the hot water heater. As a result, in the winter, it is not possible to keep your apartment warm and take a hot shower. Third, the rent is high. Think twice before choosing to live here.

Noise may be caused by transmission via structural elements, but can also be due to other factors. When we are notified of a resident's concern about noise, our staff works to determine the best course of action. By the very nature of a loft-style setting, urban distractions are an accepted part of the lifestyle. However, we encourage neighborly consideration, and when needed, will intervene. We also encourage our residents to also contact us at our corporate headquarters at 412-373-7100.
