A give and take situation

Okay, there is good and bad here. The general area is pretty quiet for the most part and that's good. There's low crime in Greentree which is another plus when considering some of the other areas around Pittsburgh (not to say that they're all bad). And they have an income requirement on their residents, which may seem like b.s. but it helps keep out some of the riff-raff. So with the rare exceptions of spoiled college kids who have their parents sign, most of the people here tend to be a little quieter, however...

...The price is not worth the fact that they charge you $40 a month for every pet you have, the security is agreeably, a joke. If you don't drive up with your stereo blasting obscenities and swerving your car on and off the road, they usually let you (except on the day you forget your card). The Unimart at the entrance is disgustingly overpriced. While the neighbors can be quiet, about half of them are night owls and you can hear their TVs while you attemt to sleep, and the rare spoiled college idiot blaring their stereo can be heard from two floors down.

And while most of the maitenence crew are decent enough people, some will catch you off guard:

One day, maitenence had to fix the cable in my neigbor's apartment and they left all their junk wires in a box on my patio. I left for the weekend the day that happened and when I came back, their wires were still there with a note on my door telling me that I would get a service charge to remove "my garbage" from my patio because it was detracting from the appearance of Hyland Hills. Tell your repair crew not to leave their crap on my patio then.

It's okay, but way too expensive and only getting worse in quality. For the bang for your buck, you're better off getting an expensive apartment at the Waterfront with all the goodies and service included. k6tKKzmJrmATU2ap682S
