I?ve lived in Hyland Hills since 1995. Started out in a studio apartment and now live in a one bedroom.
This is a clean, quiet, and safe complex with very reasonable rents and a very responsive maintenance staff. In fact, if you call to request a repair during normal business hours, the maintenance staff is often at your door within an hour! Even on a busy day, you can always be sure you?re problem will be addressed within 24-hours.
What this basic, older garden-style complex lacks in character and fancy amenities, it makes up for by the GREAT, central location with easy access to the Parkway. In fact, there?s literally only one traffic light between this complex and downtown Pittsburgh!
- 5 minutes to downtown, the North Shore stadiums or the Strip District
- 10 minutes to the South Side, Oakland or Shadyside
- 15 minutes to Ross Park Mall, Robinson Towne Center or The Waterfront
- 20 minutes to Pittsburgh International Airport or Monroeville.
Finally, there?s also a Boston Market, a bagle shop, a 7-Eleven, and a library within walking distance.
