I've lived here about a year and can tell you the two ladies in the management are nice and anytime I have a maintenance problem I call them and it's quickly resolved. Other than there are too many problems with Hyland Hills to list but I'll just touch on the main big ones. NOISE. Yes this is a serious problem - you can hear right the walls and your neighbors loud and clear. I was in the bathroom the second day living there and was startled beyond belief when I heard my neighbor's voice so clear it was like there was someone right in the room with me. Also there's the smell - don't mean to be gross so pardon me but all the smells from the neighbor's bathrooms and other rooms TRAVEL into yours. If you live on the bottom floor you'll hear every noise imaginable from doors close to walking across the floor which sounds like the roof is going to fall in it's so loud. Also the laundry rooms don't have enough washers and dryers. The security check point is as big of joke as others have said. A lot of the time at night noone is even there. All the way around it's just trashy and not worth the money for what you have to put up with to live there. Oh and parking is limited and especially at night it can be a major hassel to find open spaces
