I dont understand why everyone is being so hard on Hyland Hills Apartments. I mean, who does't appreciate thin walls, cracking ceilings, "unassisted" care for the mentally challenged being run out 50% of the units, and nickel and dime b.s.''' You people have to understand "give and take". You give and they take. I actually did complain about the terrible cracking of the ceilings from the neighbors walking around upstairs and they told me they had never heard of such a complaint before. It truly is disgusting. Don't ever rent here. The location is okay, near Green Tree, decent area, but I'd rather live in a duplex in the Hill District as long as the ceilings didn't crack like these here.
