Not a bad place for a student to live for a year

I lived at 307 N. Neville for a year. The best thing about it was the convenience--5 or 6 different bus lines 100 ft. away from my door, a grocery store, CVS, hardware store, dry cleaners, mechanic, booze (a couple dive bars, wine & spirits and a beer distributor) and food (ice cream parlor, BBQ joint, Indian, Middle Eastern) are all within 2 blocks. You can walk to CMU or Pitt in 15-20 minutes. Parking isn't bad, unless you're coming home late (after midnight).
The worst: the landlord showed up 3-5 times a week completely unannounced to show the place to prospective tenants--and then would complain that the apartment wasn't clean enough to show people. This went on for the ENTIRE Spring semester (Jan-May). During the week of spring break, he didn't even bother to knock--he just assumed that we wouldn't be there. And, in Pennsylvania, the law is very pro-landlord.
The upkeep of the building is good. The only problem is that it didn't appear to be well-insulated. If you're not living on the top floor, prepare to shell out $150/month for heating 2 rooms. SEk1KnECheF1ATXbXtrZ
