lived here for four years. the total lack
of heating control was a bit of a nightmare
in the winter. I often had to keep my windows
wide open because it was above 85 degrees
in my apartment. there was also a recurring
problem with the steam heating causing water
damage in my wall and ceiling, which was
periodically fixed, but never done correctly.
there were also occasions when the maintenance people did not take out the trash or the recycling, which caused bad smells and blocked the stairwells. the studios are well designed, though, and had more than enough storage space. good wood floors, old fixtures, a kind of cheesy remodelled kitchen. not bad.
