I moved in late February of 2008 and the staff seemed wonderful, at the time that we looked at the apartment the grass was covered with snow so couldn't see landscaping. I have dealt with loud neighbors, the first night we stayed my fiance's car was vandalized in our parking lot along with basically everyone elses in the lot. Our gas was shut off last week because management did not pay the bill and we were without hot water from wed morning until fri afternoon, I must assure you that I spoke with the gas company myself and they told me that the gas had been shut off due to non-payment despite the lies that were told to me by the management company and the leasing office. When I complained the regional manager Mayellen and the manager Eric did not want to take responsibility. Mayellen told me that all of my issues including the gas getting shut off are in the past and I need to get over it. So as you can see the person that can do anything about your issues is unwilling. I have so many other issues that I could list, if you have further questions about this property let me know, quite a few of the residents are building a case against the management company Karam for not dealing with our needs properly. Do not sign a lease to live here, you will regret it for the rest of your life. I hope I was helpful in your decision making.

i would be more than happy to help build a case against karam. i spent all last winter with little or no heat. i called repeatedly to have it fixed and no one could fix it properly. was your car keyed? cuz mine was and so were about 8 others. i cant stand this crap hole and cant wait to get out.

Mine wasn't thankfully. I got out of the lease by getting a doctor's note. My ob/gyn (I'm pregnant) didn't want me to stay here because he didn't think it was a healthy environment for me or my baby and feared for our wellbeing. I am moving to an Amore Managed community and I have heard nothing but good recommendations from people who have lived in their communities. Leland Point (Karam even) is a horrible place to live I feel like pulling over when I see the staff taking people to look at an apartment and saying "Don't do it!"

My fiance and I jsut went on a tour of these apartments last saturday and they are so beautiful inside...the townhomes, however, looked like someone just slopped paint on the walls. They looked so horrible!!! I'm glad that I read this because we were very seriously considering moving in early because we liked them so much.

I want to build a case against the company also. I am more than done with their attitudes, remarks, and excuses for poor management. I was without heat the last two winters I lived there, and randomly I won't have water for two days!!! I tell everyone I know that are looking for a place to live, NOT TO LIVE THERE AND WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!

i am here now living, i have a toilet that wont fill up with water and isnt fixed yet despite 3 calls to maintenance, they dont even give a return call to let you know when they will be out to fix things. The tile is loosening on the bathroom floor after a few months living here. Our heat isnt turned on yet and its in the 40s at night??!! Frequent garbage from other tenants in my building strewn all over the place outside the front of the building.Dirty unsanitary storage areas, with urine and toilet paper overflowing from thefloor drain.Very low class neighbors in my building, loud noise, drugs.Laundry room and basement area smell like urine.Oh and the cockroaches.1 washer and dryer per building that houses 7 families.Frequent fire trucks, ambulance, and police.I have only lived here since the end of june 2008 and this is what i have observed so far.Tons of section 8.Pool is clean but the surroundings of the pool where the lounge chair are littered with garbage and cig butts and last years old leaves. There is a community room upstairs that is off limits to residents.Fitness center is ok,clean. There is a room for children if you use the fitness center.I havent been thru the winter yet so i dont know about the heat.
