I've lived here for two years now and for the most part I like living here. The good part is that the space is great and the building is quiet and in a convenient location. Parking is available for free also. The rent is also affordable which helps.
Now my complaints...There is a serious roach problem that needs to be attended to which is quite sickening. I have found that the maintenance people are rude and ogre-like and create more of a problem then a solution. The driveway gets ignored when there is a snow storm...so don't plan on getting up the steep driveway in the winter time. I sometimes notice weird smells coming from inside the closet walls...I have yet to determine what this is. It's an old place so the floors creak and the walls are thin. My apartment faces 5th Ave. so I've gotten used to hearing ambulances and fire trucks at least 5 times a day. Also have fun trying to deal with Sachs Management s secretary...she is something else.
