In our three years in Pittsburgh, we have enjoyed living in Maxon. We're within walking distcane of the library, supermarket, movies, pharmacy, athletic facilities and three renowned city parks. Transportation by bus is a cinch. There are also two services available for over-sixties and disabled people, both inexpensive because they're partially funded by the Pennsylvania lottery. From our apartment windows we see a solid wall of trees and shrubs in summer, and vistas to the Allegheny river and Cathedral of Learning in winter. Lovely and quiet and almost perfect.
