have been at velma court apts owned by mcquarters for close to 2 years. there is alot of trouble here. teenagers hanging around vandleizing, apts being broke into. not safe here. garbage all over the grounds. last week apt insame bldg got broken into. manger has too bad for you attitude. they dont care. will be looking elsewhere for safer place to live. don't rent here.

It's a shame that a management company is dissed for "teenagers hanging around vandleizing (sic), apts being broke into. not safe here." Where are parents? Are they you & your neighbors? Where are police? This is not a rental office issue -- it's a police issue and a parent issue. Garbage all over the grounds is the only thing I see in your review that the management has any control over. This sort of thing (blaming a management company on the neighborhood) makes these reviews useless to those of us who are trying to find out relevant info. Please write to your mayor, not about your rental office. Tell us instead: How were they when you missed a payment deadline - did they try to charge you more than they said they would in your lease? Did they waive a late payment? How were they when you needed something fixed in your apt? Did they try to charge you for things when you left that they did not disclose to you in your lease?
