I live in the Greenhill Apartments which I like but the management of McQuarters is horrible. Once you move into an apartment you are stuck there and are unable to move to another apartment within the complex if you are unhappy with the positioning of your apartment when your lease is up. This is not stated in the lease but they say it is a policy of theirs. We moved into the ground floor apartment because no other apartments were available at the time of our move and figured if we didn't like it down there we would move up after our lease was up. Well, we have not enjoyed our stay on the ground floor and they will still not let us move up. We have had many bugs and a noisy neighbor and the latest has been a busted pipe from the 3rd floor leaking into our apartment, then a sewage backup into our bathroom, kitchen, bedroom, dining room and hallway. We were unable to stay in our apartment for 4 days due to this problem. McQuarters refuses to do anything for us when we were out of a home for that much time. And they won't let us move to one of the many vacate apartments upstairs.
