Do NOT sign a lease with mckee place apartments.
We got charged a $375 fee for soot on the walls (out of the security deposit) and when we called in and complained- Melissa was a total b**** and hung up. They opened our mail, tried to cash our checks and then denied everything. They charge fees and then try to deny ever charging them- DO NOT pay a cleaning fee when you move in AND when you move out. I got out of there as soon as I could. My neighbors' bathroom even fell in. The only thing good about this place is their maintenance team. They steal your money and give you a ------ apartment- our kitchen started out looking nice... then we realized what they had done- the materials were so cheap, our cabinets busted out of their covers and expanded to 4x their size, the knobs were ALL off within a week of moving in.. I get angry just thinking about this sleazy business. Go for Walnut Capital. They are reasonably priced and professional. F*** Mckee Place Apartments.
