I lived at the Georgian, but I noticed that these facts appear true at most Mozart locations:
* The buildings are old and not enough preventative maintenance is performed to avoid the many pitfalls of the older building (rodents, plumbing -I had brown water constantly,electricity problems, flooding). It almost seems like Mozart would be wise to completely renvate the interior of their buildings before they crumble or are condemned.
* The maintenance staff is polite and work to resolve problems as quickly as possible, BUT they seem overworked trying to keep the places from falling down.
* The exterior/grounds of the buildings are nicely kept, but look inside at things like the parking garages, laundry rooms,etc. not nice at all
* Lease could be better, and six months notice is a joke.
* The Management group is okay, some individuals are nicer than others and more accomodating

All in all, in the Shadyside, Squirrel Hill, Oakland area you will find a lot of similar problems with the landlords, old buildings, high rent, parking in the area. It is the nature of that area of Pittsburgh, but do your research and you may luck out and find something better than the Mozart apartments -- there are worse out there too. The better ones may cost a lot more $$$ too, so get a roomate. One other recommendation is to consider moving to the suburbs (kinda hard for CMU/Pitt kids) but as a post-grad, grad student consider that you get far more for your buck, the suburbs are less stressful, and you don't have a bunch of party frat kids as neighbors. I Recommend the North Hills, Fox Chapel, Mt. Lebanon.
