I have lived here for two years now. I've had a few problems, but nothing huge. There were cockroaches when I first moved in...not horrible, I saw two of them...but that was enough for me to call, and they came and sprayed...they spray yearly, I believe, and I haven't seen any since. Their lease sounds a little restrictive when you read it, but it's really not that bad. The only problem I ever had with them was that they came in once and did a surprise housekeeping inspection. I was not ok with that. I want to know when someone is going to be in my apartment. I went to the manager and cried (it was a bad month, and that was the last straw) and they haven't done it again. All in all, this has been a pretty good place to live. I'm actually considering renting from them again, in a different building.

I can only say that you are quite naive as far as your rights. You seem to be very passive about having your rights violated. They aren??????t allowed to enter your apartment without 24-hour notice. Restrictive is hardly the word for the lease; it requires you to give up your rights as a renter to live there. I am sure Mozart is happy there are people like you around who will allow themselves to be willingly victimized and pay for it.

Sorry, I don't think that having a safe, quiet, clean place to live is having my rights violated. I'm sure that there are a lot of lowlife people out there who trash apartments, and I would rather have a landlord who cares too much than a landlord who doesn't care at all. It is their building, after all, not mine. You sound bitter. Sorry if you had a problem with them, but that doesn't mean that everyone will.
