Mozart Management has an obsessive compulsive managerial team and a maintenance team that is completely opposite. Any apartment in Pittsburgh is expensive and most charge for parking. So, the expense was never my complaint. Here are just a couple of things that happened in brief.
1. "Somehow" 3 other new residents had the same appointment time for the frieght elevator to move in.
2. Maintenance- I moved my things into my apt, and came back a week later to live and found urine in my toilet and a spot on my comforter where you could tell someone was sitting. A couple weeks later, the ceiling was patched and painted in several spots over a week's time where I needed to be gone while the work was being done (Note: there was a 2 wk period before I was allowed to begin renting when repairs were supposed to be done). I locked myself out once and maintenance offered to get me back in for $50 when I come to find out the extra key is free for a period of 24 hours. I had two freezer-fuls of meat go bad. A part was replaced the 1st time, and the whole thing replaced the next. Later in my lease, the maintenance men decided to use my bathroom again, not to urinate.
3. Safety- Homeless people constantly sleep in the doorways and all the management did was send out a note (They could save a hundred trees with all the notes they send). Another note was sent out around Christmas saying to watch for muggers in the parking lot. My back windshield was cracked and I found part of a socket on my backseat. "Teenagers" don't go cracking windows with tools. Hmmm maintenance'
4. Contract- Yes, the contract is like signing your life away. Don't even think about termination because it'll run you broke. And, expect on letting them know whether or not you will renew your lease about six months into the lease. P.S. Where else do you go that every other Monday you have zero water for a couple hours and EVERY Monday you have brown water coming out of your spigots for a couple minutes due to water pipe repairs. And when have you heard of writing a check to get a temp. parking pass for a different car while yours is getting work done. Only when you return this pass do they tear up the $50 check.
This is just a couple of the things that happened while I was there and FAR from all of them. I lived here out of convenience being so close to the hospital, but that is the one and only reason.

I agree very strongly with this writer. I have lived in Wendover for a while now, and find their MO to be unbelievable. I will write a long email about the abuses that I have suffered, but obsessive compulsive management tied into really offensively lazy and arrogant workers sort of sums it up. I wonder if laws are being broken, I mean that literally. More soon. Mozart person...(no, Beethoven please)
