Overall - okay place to live, but not the best in the city.

Overall, Nob Hill was a good place to live. The management staff is nice and easy to deal with. Any and all problems were fixed promptly. However, they are only available from 9-5, Monday - Friday. I have no idea if they even have a weekend schedule. This can be a problem if you work from 9-5. The snow (which can be a problem in hilly Pittsburgh) was always promptly plowed from the driveway. In fact, most times the driveway was plowed better and/or earlier than the roads.
However, you could probably find a larger apartment for the same price elsewhere. The elevators are so slow, you practically age a year in the time it takes to go up one floor. The commute isn't the worst in the city, but it's no dream either. It's atleast 30-45 minutes into downtown Pittsburgh (Mon-Fri) even though it's only 5 miles from town. The biggest issue we have is that the average age of tenants in this complex seems to be 65. If you're looking to meet young people, go somewhere else.
