For the price/location, it's not a bad apartment. The space was too small, and the managment recently switched to the owners. Now there is no longer an answering service, so it has become even more difficult to reach someone at the main office; they no longer take checks directly, you must mail them in; maintenance is very slow to fix problems; our heater / a/c also didn't work and it took forever to replace the one unit that's meant to heat/cool the entire apartment (which doesn't really work for the bedroom anyways).

Although they now have a cop posted on the "private" road sometimes meant to turn folks around, he doesn't give out tickets, is there seldomly (he said mostly during football games) and can only turn around traffic coming from one direction, based on where he's sitting on the road. So traffic is still a problem on the local road.

Some other problems: Some buildings have no washer/dryer in the complex forcing you to have an in-suite washer/dryer (which is the small, stacked variety), there is no outdoor balcony light; they caused a lot of grief getting our DISH up (we had to sign a waiver to not ground it, then buy odd mounting equipment because you can't mount to any part of their building -- we put it on some stone slabs to raise it on our balcony); and no real sidewalk around the complex, making you walk out in the driveway/road or on the grass.
