I enjoyed my time at the Oaks From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 3/7/2008 Years at this apartment: 2003 - 2007   I lived in a townhouse for 5 years at the Oaks and enjoyed it a great deal. Yes it's an older property and has some warts, but it's well maintained and problems are handled quickly by the wonderful staff. There is a nice mix of older and younger people that live there and that keeps the party atmosphere to a minimum. I've lived in other apartment communities over the years and this environment is by far the most comfortable. Sure, I hear some noise at times but nothing excessive. I chuckled when I read the previous post about all the complaints - including the snake. Someone did have one for a short time, but once management found out it was gone in a few days. There are NO pets at this place except for cats and when someone tries to break the rules they get caught. Perhaps the previous poster lived in a castle somewhere and was not used to being around people - after all, it is an apartment community. After many years in two different town homes at the Oaks, I can say that it's a nice place to live and the staff does a fine job.
