Pennslyvanian Hotel, Pittsburgh, PA From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 6/14/2007 Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2007   The Pennsylvanian is more like living in a hotel rather than an apt. There are no common areas except the entry way. No place to have coffee/tea or socialize with other guests other than a once a month event for a couple of hours. The large ballroom is off limits to residents. So you are either in your apt or on the street. Needs major updates in the kitchens. Also needs major update on the heat/air conditioning systems as they are very loud in the loft apts. They are in the bedroom. Train is very loud also. Valet parking is nice but you pay extra to park a car there. Custodian staff cleans constantly which is nice.
