Not bad...

Years at this apartment: 2003 - 2005
I lived here for two years while attending Pitt. The location was pretty good, and my apartment was fairly quiet because it didn't face 5th or Shady. I could hear my neighbors very easily though. The buildings are pretty old, so don't expect luxury, but they aren't terrible either.
The management and maintenance staff were helpful which was a plus. I did have an experience where my bedroom light would short and flicker when I turned it on, so I called the office right away. When I got back from class that same day, there was a note saying I needed a new lightbulb, and if I needed help they could install in for me for a fee. I called back because I still couldn't use the light in my room, and they came back 2 or 3 days later and ended up replacing all the wiring in that room. So, the problem was fixed, but they definitely didn't take it seriously at first.
