Very few complaints!

We have very few complaints about this apartment. We have been living here for 3 years and have enjoyed almost every minute. The maintenance staff are usually very quick and efficient. The office staff are very friendly and willing to help with any problem. The apartments are a little pricey, but they are so nice that it is worth it. The location is great - the area is usually very safe. Shadyside is a great place to live. From here, you can walk to Walnut St and Ellsworth ave which are both full of restaurants and stores for shopping. There are a few buses which run by that can take you to various locations. Also, as long as you are willing to pay for a garage, the parking is great! Otherwise, street parking is not always easy to find, and my side mirror was knocked off twice (but that is pretty typical for Pittsburgh streets, I think).
Some of the problems that we encountered: there is only one washer and dryer in some of the apartment buildings so sometimes you can't do your wash when you want to. Also, occasionally the water is shut off (I think that is the fault of the city though, and not the apartment complex). When this happens, the water is brown for a few hours when it comes back on. Also, it tends to get a bit noisy, however that is expected when you are living so close to so many people.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone who is looking in this area.
