I am sad to say that the majority of the negative things to say about the management are true BUT the place isn't bad especially for the price. I had a very spacious 1 bedroom 1 bathroom that was within walking distance to my school. The parking was good, I never had a problem and the assigned spaces work well. It was very convenient and I was generally happy with the apartment. The management company was a different story. Here are some selected stories regarding the management:

The washing machines and dryers broke. I called when only 1 (of 3) dryer was broken and was assured it would be taken care of. Several months later nothing had been done and I started calling every week. Every time I called I was assured things were being taken care of but nothing would happen. Eventually I demanded to talk to the owners and was assured they would call me back soon... which also never happened. In December of 2007 (one dryer was broken in september 2006 when I moved in and began calling) they had replaced all three washers/dryers with brand new ones which worked very well. So if you are willing to call every day and fight about it then you can get things fixed.

If you call on monday be prepared to wait on the phone for 20 minutes as lobos must have many different properties that have issues during the weekend. I've been put on hold and forgotten about. I talked to someone told them my issue and they said they would check on it and put me on hold for a minute. 30 minutes later a different person picks up not knowing what is going on.

Locking yourself out sucks, they are not helpful at all. I locked myself out on a saturday and called Lobos. I was put on hold and eventually hung up and called back thinking they forgot about me. A DIFFERENT person answered and told me that they were the only person there and therefore couldn't help me. Now its possible that there was some sort of call forwarding set up on the weekend and thats how I spoke to two different people within 15 minutes but... I'm a little too jaded to believe that. It wasn't fun but it was my fault for locking myself out.

so yes management sucks but the place is nice enough and for a college kid its a good deal.
