Overall, a pretty good experience, and would recommend. I'll provide a pro's and con's list:

Pros:
Apartment - The apartments are large in size, and one big advantage is the number of closets and size of the closests.

Staff - In my experience, they were great. There are doormen here on sight from 7am to 11pm, who are all really nice, and willing to help you out whenever needed. The office staff have always been friendly when I've stopped in there.

Maintenance - My overall experience was pretty good. Whenever I called for anything minor, they were here within 24 hours. We had a major event that was not taken care of initially in the correct manner, but the management were great in assisting me after the occurence.

Roof top patio - That is open until 11 when the doorman leaves. Really just a nice added feature.

Location - Walk to Pitt/CMU campus. Close to 4 buslines, depending on where you are going. I used the bus all year round, and this was great feature. one mile to grocery store, so can walk it, or take bus. At night though - some of the streets can get a little sketchy. Walking distance to restaurants and convenience stores.

Cons:
Parking - If you opt to purchase a parking spot, its pretty expensive ($85.00/month). We initially used the garage service, but after a year, decided to park down the back alley, where you do not need a city permit. This is first come first serve, and you are not always guarenteed a spot. You are unable to get a city parking permit, because of the building's location.

Heating - People have mentioned in previous email about this. I have not heard loud clanking noises coming from the radiator, so can't comment about that.. but the apartment is really hot all winter long. Even if you try to turn off the radiator, its just hot. It feels like summer all year long. We keep our windows open all winter long to try to moderate the temperature in here.

So-So's:
Price: I'd say its pretty much consistent for whats available in the area. You can find cheaper if you look around, or want to be in a different area, but for the location, its consistent with other buildings.
