I rented from URE for two years in Oakland. The hallways were filthy and stunk. The laundry machines were constantly broken for weeks at a time. I had pipes leak into my apartment over a holiday weekend. When I returned they were quick to come fix them and punch a huge hole in the wall. They didn't clean up after themselves. I spent hours vacumming up their mess and cleaning my own carpet to get the mold out. They didn't even offer. Their fix for the hole they punched in my wall' Duct tape, that was there until the day I moved out, never patched it. The wiring was terrible, I had to have an adapter for the refrigerator, which they provided. When I moved out, they told me I broke the outlet with my unnecessary adapter. They also didn't take care of the grounds. I thought I was living in a jungle in the middle of Oakland.
Not a good choice....
