I rented from URE for 2 years and for those 2 years mold lived under the carpet. After steam-vaccing it and telling the maintinance man several times, he told me that by steam cleaning the carpets we pulled all the dirt up from the carpet pad. Absolutely disgusting. We were promised a new carpet one year ago and still haven't gotten one. In the doorway of one of the bedrooms there is a constant wet spot, from the mold that is under the carpet. Also, for a year and a half we didn't have cold water in our bathroom sink and the sink in our kitchen constantly spit smelly water back up from the drain. Our kitched cabinents were falling off the wall and the floor was coming up, and after every other unit got a new kitchen we had to wait 3 months. Our backdoor lock was broken and kept coming out of the wall, not safe at all! That took 2 months to fix. The laundry is located in the basement, and half the time only one washer works. Also, people constantly break into the basement to try to steal the money out of the coin operated washers and dryers. Everyone who we have ever dealt with at URE was very nice and polite, they are just the absolutely slowest people in getting things fixed ever!!!
