I lived at 484 Hoodridge drive in 2008. I was a student, so I had to travel 2 hours to find a place in a quick amount of time before school started. The apartment I viewed looked nice at first. It was dirty, but the manager said a tenant was just moving out and that new carpets would be put in, as well as it would be painted/cleaned. So I agreed and took it that day and moved in a month later. When I moved in, the kitchen was painted, but that was it. The stove and bathroom were disgusting, nothing was cleaned and the bathtub had mysterious green mold on it that I had to scrub for weeks and still never got off. The carpets were not changed. The same dirty carpets. When I vaccumed them, it took my vaccum 8 times in filling it until the carpets were sort of cleaned. The water was shut off numerous times throughout me living there and many things broke, more than likely because they weren't installed right in the first place. Our sink dripped the entire time living there, and they never fixed it regardless of my numerous complaints. The property manager is a cool guy. Im sure its not my fault, his employer is a crappy one. They were very ignorant and rude and would threathen to throw me out if my rent was 2-3 days late, even though most of the time I paid thousands off at a time. I eventually broke my lease 10 months later and they took me to court. In their complaint they claimed I left the apartment dirty, but I actually left it more clean than it was when I arrived and spent months in trying to make it cleaner! I would never rent from them again and don't suggest it...and I will NEVER pay them for "making the apartment filthy" because it was filthy before I moved in!
