I loved it until all the students started moving in and then it was like living in a college dorm. I left because of a medical emergency but will probably not return there when I am able to move back to the City. Maintanance people were great. They were helpful, timely and efficient. But office staff was difficult. Most of the front desk people were helpful especially, Ed but Don is CRAZY and extremely annoying. Having the van, the deli, the beauty shop and the pool were great extras. The dry cleaners provided poor service. A conference room and space to hold receptions would be nice other than having to use the lobby which provides no privacy. Having lived on the Soutside view of the building, it was always too hot because the air conditioning was not strong enough to offset the sun coming in from the windows. I liked the layout of the apartment, especially the windows and the view they provided. There was plenty of closet space and having storage bins available is also good. I was able to have pets (cats) and that was a priority for me. I return there regularly to visit friends and go to the beauty shop so I still get to see any developments or changes. I was thrilled when I first moved there but I would be embarrassed to receive company now because of the students' behavior and language. While in my apartment, there was little problem with noise but the minute I opened the door, the voices were loud. Additionally, on 3 occasions when I have visited this past year, I have have encountered unpleasant smells and other things in the halls or elevators from someone having thrown up. It could be a great place to live but management is poor. I no longer want to live in a college dorm setting
