I am not going to sit here and bash WP. Overall it is a nice place to live. It is better than the dorms in every aspect! The look of the building from the outside is very pretty. Besides the hill district we have a nice pool and picnic area with tennis courts and grills. Improvements that need to be made are typical maintenance for the entire city of Pittsburgh.... new plumbing, better (sturdier) kitchen cabinets, updated heat/AC systems, and rodent control. I am just not pleased with the way I am treated by the staff..... the doormen still ask if I live here after 2 years of going in and out of the building and having countless conversations with them! The management treat us like children...letters being sent home to our parents, yes our parents are co-signers and they have a right to know but it would be considerate to have a notice ourselves in our mailboxes or slid under the door...... I dont appreciate getting an angry phone call from my parents flipping out because I did not warn them about any letter getting sent home! My parents are not responsible for my actions, I AM and I PAY THE RENT, NOT THEM!!!! PS. Dont ----- about the college students that live here.... they pay rent just like everyone els, and if you have a problem with them than dont rent out to them!! I LOVE WP!
