The Plaza is improving for professionals/empty nesters

Since moving in three years ago, my wife and I have noted a substantial improvement in the quality of both the building and tenants. Whereas previous management companies made contracts with university housing providers (which did not require background checks), the current management team has succeeded in evicting many of the residents which treated the building no better than a dormitory.
There are notable improvements being made at the moment, including a new exterior paint job, refurbishment of the interiors, and a new (perhaps too efficient!) HVAC system. Apparently in the near future the tennis courts will be refurbished, with one converted into a basketball court.
As always the maintenance, office, cleaning and front door crews do an exemplary job in dealing with the varied residential community - there are bound to be problems from time to time, but I suspect this is caused as much by the tenant as it is by the staff.
The quibbles we have with the building generally concern parking for visitors, noise from neighbors, and the lack of washer/drier hookups in (most of) the units. However, we just signed a new lease - for the location, price, views and services, we couldn't do better than the Plaza.

Aren't you the person who just left the comment "Leases clearly prohibit sub-leasing units without the prior written consent of management. Might I also add that management has being doing a much better job of preventing over-crowding of units by students." on another review? I think you're an employee. Terrible. |
