What a dump!

A few months ago,I had an interview for the Maintenance Supervisor position. So I set the interview up with the manager, we will just call her RV. A few days before, I did a drive by of the complex. At the time the exterior of the building was being painted and the place look very nice. Then I came home and starting checking things out over the internet. That's when some of the pieces of the puzzel started to fit. Well, I go on the interview. First problem, PARKING! So I get out and walk over to the shuttle driver to ask him where to park' That's when I found squashed mice on the driveway. So the rodent problem is TRUE! Oh and the old alcoholic van driver can go rot in hell, very rude and crude person. When I asked him where I could park, He said go find a meter. Ok, screw you I did. Well I go to the front desk and tell them I have an interview with RV. So he directs me to the conference room, gives me an application to fill out and tells me that the manager will be in. Well I could tell they were having mechanical problems. The place was like 100 degrees! So in clammers RV! Never introduced herself, just started talking about the place like it was a palace!I could tell it wasn't, the conference room was filthy. So after all the bla bla bla, I asked for a tour. Well, we go to a vacant. Nice apartment!, but still has glass plug fuses' I'm thinking MAJOR electrical upgrade, but all in all a nice unit!Oh elevators are junk. Next I ask to see the physical plant of the building, So RV proudly escorts me to the mechanical rooms. First stop maintenance shop, a complete F'n mess and more squashed rodents. Then the boiler room, a complete disaster! Water leaking on the floor, a quick glance around pointed out MANY problems. Just a total mess! But I'm thinking the place is so hot'! Why don't I hear the chiller running. The machine that cools that size of building is massive, and makes alot of noise when running. Well next stop on the tour is the room the chiller lives in. But it's busted, poorly maintained and they are trying to get it online, after all it's 92 degrees outside. Well I look the abused machine over, RV's telling me "It's new, only six years old!" yeah BS and think forget it. To make a long story short, RV should be fired and tossed out on Centre Ave, along with the complete staff of the building, a wrecking ball be placed on site. Level the joint and build the proposed casino or modern hirise. The complex is shot to hell and needs to go. I feel sorry for the person that took the position and for the hard working people that live in the dump and pay extrodinary rent for the unfortunate privilege! The postings about the problems are true about this complex and I would highly recommend other apartment complexe's to live in.
