gee, it's hard to believe that we review the same building. although now on 22,i've lived on floors 3 and 17, as well. the experience has been a very good one. rosina has always been quite nice and has responded reasonably to reasonable requests.management of a building this size and of considerable age can't be easy. and the rest of the staff have been just great.
the people in the office have always been helpful and maintained positive attitudes. maintenance has responded to problems quickly and efficiently. and i can't see that anyone could find fault w/ the gentlemen at the desk or the fact that we're fortunate to have a shuttle that runs into town and serves oakland.
washington plaza is a swell place to live if one considers that this is, after all, apartment living and in the city. for the price, it is also the best value in town.
i don't hang in any areas of the building and i don't travel much floor-to-floor on the elevators that i've read residents find offensive. i'm getting old and i guess there's a lot that i miss. but i do know this: centre avenue is a 2-way street. in other words, resident cooperatation helps.
