I have been living here for a month now and I have had a great experience so far. The amenities included in the rent (pool, tennis courts, fitness center, etc) are in excellent condition and very convenient. I haven't had a problem with the management so far, and they have been really friendly and call me by name every time I see them! The other residents I have met have been really nice as well. The shuttle service is extremely convenient and I appreciate all the trips to Oakland and the downtown area!
All in all, it has been a great experience and I am very satisfied with my decision to live here!

Hang in there, your 9 time out of 10 going to see the downward spiral. I suggest getting some frogs to eat the insects, a cat to eat the mice, some sleeping pills for the faulty 3 a.m. fire alarms, medical masks so you don't breath in the mold while your in the building, a bio hazard suit because some nast black stuff that looks / smells like raw sewage most likely from a neighbors' toilet will randomly pop up in your kitchen and or bathroom sinks, take the stairs most of the time or always carry some nutrients with you as the elevators are notorious for holding people in between floors for however long they want to. These are just a few recommendations for you and oh yeah don't forget to shower and wash laundry any time the you have water service. I wish you luck with your lease and the remaining 11 months of it but please don't think that the first month living here is how the remainder of your residency will be.

Your response hits the nail on the head. lived there in 2003 and still look at the revues to to see if the place has been SHUT DOWN.Only to see by my amazement that it isn't.The one about the fire alarms is soooo true.I dont know how many times I had to go down 20 floors half a sleep in the early morning hours outside in the freezing winter .only to find out it was some COLLEDG kiddy get there kicks. This place is a baby sitter for.Them and not a good one at that.
