I tried to rent from Webster Hall for the 2001-2002 year. My roommate and I put our names on the waiting list, and I got a call a week or so later saying they had an apartment for us. We were all set up (or so we thought), but then about a month later when we called to make sure we didn't need to do anything else before we left for the summer they told us they didn't have the apartment anymore. The excuse was that they had rented all the 'available' rooms to CMU. So...we were both moving a few hours away and didn't have a place to live the following semester. Thanks Webster management! We did end up finding a nice apartment (for less money and with better management).
