Nice place to live
From: -Anonymous-Date posted: 2/1/2008
Years at this apartment: 2007 - 2008
I moved into this building in August of 2007. I wanted this building because it was conveniently located across the street from the University of Pittsburgh's School of Information Science building where I would be attending. I must admit that I love my apartment. The management and maintenence staff are amazing. However, I wish that I had been told that Carnegie Mellon rents out a bunch of apartments to their undergrads. I have had to complain three times about noise levels after midnight. Which, finally, have been resolved. The staff is quick to solve your problems. My only other complaints are that it is down the street from Fraternity row, and there is a lot of shouting on the streets late at night, which can be heard in the apartments, and that if you live on the 5th Avenue side of the building, you can hear what bus is outside your window, since the announcement is quite loud. Otherwise, this is a great place to live!
