Let me start by saying the apartment itself is not bad, it is actually cute. But, getting up to the apartment is horrible. If you do not vomit from the smells in the hallway (garbage), then you will definetly vomit from the smell of human feces in the hallways. (buildings 1&2) I live in building 3 (Thank God). I actually wittnessed a mexican man pooping in the garbage can. I am ashamed to bring people to my apartment. Aside from the long (i mean long)hallways, I have to go down stairs to let people in because the intercom and the buzzer doesn't work. Maintance is verrrrryyyy slooow. You have to call down the office every other day just to maybe have some hope of getting something done. I am a very clean person, yet there are all sorts of bugs from spider to cockroaches in the apartments. The pool is barley ever open, there is only 1 air conditioning unit in the living room, and does not reach the bedroom. Strange people knock on you door all hours of the night, and when people run down the hall the whole apartment shakes. Besides all of this every time it rains the windowns leak, and the walls have pockets in them from the rain running down them. I think you would already know that I can not wait until my lease is up in December. The place is under new management but the only changes that i have seen is not there are lounge chairs and picnic tables by the pool. So I would strongly advise possible future tenants to simply think again. Every time i go home it feels like I am crossing the border in to Mexico.

Yea you are on point...especially about the maintenance team and office staff...i think the new team are far more worse than the former crew...they take more cigarette breaks than any group of employees i know...the manager is soooo nasty and bossy it is very unpleasant dealing with her one on one.

Hey anonymous i think your crazy the new manager is awesome she one of the best people i have ever had to deal with and i think you are i some way holding a grudge maybe something to deal with eviction???

I think the comment about crossing the border into Mexico is completely uncalled for. Pooping in a garbage can is wrong in itself, but if it were a white or black man would you have claimed to have crossed the border somewhere else? Perhaps you should think of a more mature and effective way of filing a complaint in the future. Also, just a question, how many apartments do you know that offer more than one air conditioner? And with respect to complaining about the long hallwas, did you not get to see your apartment before moving in? Were the long hallways not as long then?

While the "Mexico" comment wasn't put in the best of terms...its true. I lived in building one, and had neighbors on each side of me that spoke NO English. Thank goodness I took Spanish in High School, or I would have NO idea how to ask them to keep the noise down. When I did go to one of the adjacent apartments, a Mexican man opened the door and there was upwards of 15 beds in the living room. Keep up the GREAT application process Westpointe!
