I dont really like being a tattle tale and just looked at this site last night to my amazement. Most negative things that have been reported are legit in my opinion. I did not live or work at Westpointe but I have a very unique perspective. I have been at the complex at least 200 times in 3 years. I know or knew I should say the leasing agent, the manager and some of the old maintenance crew. I will give you my insight into why and what has happened there. We used to paint and clean apts. for extra money before people would move in, the places were destroyed for lack of a better word, urine on the floor, unknown substances around, bugs everywhere..in the halls, in the rooms, in the trash shoot rooms. The place reeks constantly for one reason or another, especially when the trash ducts would become jammed. The security around the complex is not present, there have been more than one or two rapes reported, just not to the police or media, not to mention the robberies, vandalisms, break ins ect...maintenance hmmmm where should I start' Well Ill just put it like this..your leasing agent and maintinence thought it was a joke and didnt think too highly of most who reside there..so..oh and did I mention the ILLEGAL ALIENS' I thought it was pretty funny the way someone tried to defend them....diversity' just trying to feed their family' LOL come on now...last time I checked there was a fence for a reason in Texas' Wonder how or why they all come to Westpointe' hmm...wonder who handles the applications' for both residents and employees' As far as sleeping with the tenants I dont know about that..but I do know the leasing agent did have a baby to the X maintenance man..so probably not too far of a stretch..I know I would be terminated for such a thing where I work..Its called a conflict of interest...not to mention lack of self respect. Anyway back to the review..I didnt want to stay there then...and wouldnt stay there now...especially for the astronomical price they ask...there are many other places around the area...you could do much better..also, I noticed how one particular building always seems to be taken better care of than the other two...the quote "people we like" get placed there. I have witnessed all sorts of things up there...as Im sure you will too if you stay.

you obviously havent been to westpointe lately.or you would know that all the illegal aliens are gonethe new maintenance crew does there job well,by keeping the trash shoots cleaned out sure there are times when a resident will throw there trash on the floor but it dont stay there long.and yes the apts. were destroyed,but thanks to the new manager and maintenace the apts. are now all painted and cleaned and updated when needed.you said you used paint and clean apts. well then you must have been part of the problem with the apts being for lack of a better word,destroyed.i have been visiting westpointe for the past 6 years and i have to say in the last 2 years westpointe has come a long waythe buildings are much cleaner,bugs are gone,the apts.are much nicer,the manager,leasing agent and maintenance,are all doing a good job to make westpointe a nice,safe community

Well Im glad to hear things have turned around...I guess your right..I destroyed the apartments by painting and cleaning them...lol. I'm just finding it hard to believe that the whole place has been turned upscale in a year...I think I worked on 4 apartments or something..but visited frequently...seen the day to day ongoings...and it was far from nice and safe..even the staff would tell you that..but like I said if what you said is true more power to you guys..after all you have to live there. I think that place has potential with its location..just lack of doing was most of the problem...not screening employees, tenants..plus they are under staffed..so with that in mind I do feel for the office. And to answer your statement I havent been there for awhile...thank goodness.
