It sounds like those of you who are complaining about noise must live in our building since your situations sound eerily familiar! (accept for the manager "not doing anything" part which I find hard to believe.) Unfortunately, you can't pick your neighbors & sometimes you get stuck with some that aren't so great. The first year that we lived here we never heard ANY noise from the people who lived around us. The most we heard was the birds chirping in the woods surrounding the property - which was very nice to wake up to! Overall, I've thoroughly enjoyed living at White Oaks. The location is great. There are no tunnels to get downtown and McKnight Road has everything you'd ever need. There's a bus stop right at the end of the road. The grounds are always beautifully kept. The pool is a great perk and never uncomfortably crowded like in some other complexes. The apartments are nicely laid out and closets really are huge! The staff is more than accomodating, always accessible, & takes care of any problems immediately. Best of all - FREE HEAT! I would certainly recommend White Oaks to anyone that's interested.
