they will rip you off, have a good lawyer before you move in From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 5/20/2004 Years at this apartment: 2003 - 2004 1 response I moved in and my apartment was full of mold!!! They agreed to move me after months of begging. Then when I moved out they charged me for all these other expenses to get back at the cost of moving. They are not fair renters at all!! I LIVED IN ANOTHER APARTMENT BUILDING OWNED BY DEAKTOR DEVELOPMENT. WE WENT WITH NO HOT WATER FOR 3 DAYS BECAUSE DEAKTOR DEVELOPMENT DID NOT PAY THE GAS BILL. HOW DO I KNOW? I FOUND 2 SHUT OFF NOTICES THROWN IN THE BUSHES AT THE ENTRANCE OF THE BUILDING. AT ONE POINT, THE GARBAGE DUMPSTER WAS OVER FLOWING SO BADLY THAT YOU COULD HARDLY GET INTO THE DRIVE WAY. THE BUILDING SMELLED SO BAD YOU COULDN'T EVEN BELIEVE IT. NOW ABOUT YOUR SECURITY DEPOSIT. BE READY TO FIGHT FOR IT....I FOUGHT FOR 10 WEEKS TO GET MY DEPOSIT BACK. (TOLD DEAKTOR DEVELOPMENT I WOULD GET AN ATTORNEY AND WAS IN THE PROCESS WHEN MY DEPOSIT WAS RETURNED) WHEN I FIRST MOVED INTO MY APARTMENT RESICOM OWNED THE BUILDING AND IT WAS BEAUTIFUL!!! AFTER DEAKTOR DEVELOPMENT (THE SAME FOLKS THAT OWN WOOD HAWK) TOOK OVER IT WAS ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!!!! IF YOU HEAR THE NAME DEAKTOR DEVELOPMENT...RUN AS FAR AND AS FAST AS YOU CAN!!!!! I HAVE SINCE MOVED OUT...THANK YOU GOD!!!!
