The -------s will say anything to get you to sign the lease. Once you do, you will learn they don't care about you or your problems. The building I lived in was fifthly dirty but I was told "they are working on it." They have been working on it for a year and a half and the only thing changing is more dirt!

The garage in our building had 6 parking spots, but they granted permission to 7 cars to park in them. So you can image the headache it caused. One of the so called "spots" was in front of the storage room. So too bad if you need to get in there. I would call and complain about the dirt and the parking and no one cared or would call me back.

A pipe burst in the storage room and they fixed it by putting a barrel under it and emptying it everyday. Our washer used to be in a puddle of water. And the basement foundation leaked muddy water. They only fixed things when we called the health dept. The "office" is incompetent. Very often they will send letters to tenants stating the tenant owes back rent. And once we even had ----- ------- himself banging door to door claiming people didn't pay their rent. However, that month they changed the address to a lock box for the rent payments but didn't tell any of the tenants until after the due date. So obviously, there were a lot of miss-directed checks. And to boot, this was on a Saturday night after 8 pm. I was so appalled. He never even apologized.

Don't rent here. You can do better.

I am the manager of this ------- Development property and i would like to address some of the comments that were made in this review. As everyone who has ever been around construction knows, there is dirt, sawdust, etc. That happens. It is inevitable, but they try to make it as neat as possible once the workers leave for the day. On the issue of parking. Yes there are only 6 spots and we only give out those 6 spots to the tenants. If a tenant has an extra car or they have people over or someone just uses the spot illegally then obviously there wouldn't be enough spaces. We cannnot control what the tenants do to a certain extent. If the tenant reports a vehicle that does not belong there, then we would gladly have it towed away at the owners expense to avoid the parking issues. The picture you see listed here is a picture that was taken before the new ceiling was put in the laundry room. As far as the lead goes and the muddy water, there was a french drain that was put around the entire building so that problem has been rectified. Never once has there ever been a violation on record against ------- Development. Anyone has the right to call the health department for issues, but to waste the taxpayers money in order to either make a point or to try and divert the attention away from the issues they cause themselves isjust deplorable. We have always tried to retify the problems in a timely fashion, but sometimes are at the mercy of other contractors or supply companies in getting what we need to do the job properly. As far as the rental problem goes, yes there was a mix up with the lockbox situation which has been rectified. We had notified the residents of the problems and had asked them to help us clear up any issues on their accounts. A majority of the residents responded positively with this as it was a bank error. Those who did not responded were then visited by the owner. We tried every way possible to make the situation right but we needed some assistance. Therefor, with all of these comments addresses, we hope that you will take into consideration that there are some people that may not be happy with where they live, but there are always 2 sides to every story. Thank YOu.

It is true about them saying anything, they told me that I could have satellite TV in my apartment. Even after walking out on the balcony with the agent and mentioning that this may not be possible I was assurred it would work. After two technicians and over $150 in lost money I now have some really crappy STTS cable that has no HD, no sports packages, it's pretty much basic cable from 1970. I consulted a lawyer on the lost money and was advised that since it wasn't in the lease that they were no responsible for it, but he also told me that he has heard of numerous complaints about the ------- company and their associates.
