I have rented for nearly 10 years and I have never experienced the lack of attention, the decrepit conditions and horrible attitudes from just about everyone that works here.

The office staff is just plain disrespectful. The manager is unhappy, rude and a bit nasty. They have one awesome doorman that works in the mornings. He is probably one of the nicest people I have ever met and will bend over backwards for you. The others are miserable. They advertise a ?concierge.? The doormen will not even get off of their lazy behinds to open the door or help with your groceries. They are miserable human beings that do not even smile or say hello as you walk in the door. When you request maintenance, you are lucky to get a response. My garbage disposal has been broken for two weeks after being clogged for one week.

Most of the doors in my two bedroom do not close or lock. The medicine cabinet mirror is broken, you need to be in very good physical condition to open and close the sliding glass door. The appliances are ancient. The air conditioners freeze up. The dishwasher leaves a dirty film on the dishes. The painters must be blind. There is paint on the counters and on the carpet. The hallways are dirty and have a stale odor to them. This place is not worth the money.

The thing that bothers me the most is the lack of safety overnight. I was told that an older couple was held up at gunpoint a few months ago and the management did nothing about it. The other night, an older women found a drunk man passed out in the 4th floor hallway. They have no doorman overnight. He leaves at midnight and comes back at 6 or 7 AM. However, they do not tell you this when you move in. People are now starting to talk about this in the elevators.

Be very careful before you sign the lease. The workers have attitudes and will not respond to your requests, the place is falling apart and you will more than likely not be happy here.
