Sadly, most all its staff (particularly the office) has no regard for their tenants once a lease has been signed. They arbitrarily raise rents higher on those that may have a legitimate complaint throughout the year. No one's rent increase is ever the same as their neighbor nor does it ever match the increase from the year before AND the amounts can differ from a $15.00 a month increase to $160.00! The more you ask for what's rightfully your due, the higher your next rent increase will be.

In all actuality, Place One can and will not raise rent more than the marklet standard of 4% ANNUALLY ! When a tenant enters a lease for 12 months, the rent is guaranteed at that price for the length of the lease. Each tenant has signed a lease under different circumstances, so therefor will not be the same as his/her neighbor. Arbitrary rent increases are a violation of the lease contract and are not a practice of Place One Apartments.
